oh sh*t...i forgot the half yearlies!!!!
well, the hols are over, and i've realised that i'm actually quite screwed for the half yearlies, especially for economics, physics, chem, maths and english, so basically all of my subjects. i brought home my eco book at the start of the hols planning to study it, but i haven't touched the damn thing since.
i rckn i'll be ok for maths and chem and english hopefully...if i can bullshit my way through the "rites of passage speech" and the essay on change. got a new maths teacher today, she's ok i guess, i still like the indian guy we had at the start of the year, he'e teaching rezcallah's class now.
So what happened in the last days of my holidays? well i got in about 6 hours of driving which was good. went off without a hitch, cept for the part when i turned and drove on the wrong side of the road, but besides that all was ok.
went and saw sahara yesterday with shinny and waiken, it was worth my $5.75 buy i prefer the book over the film. i guess that what you like better, i'm talking about a book and a film, depends on what you see/read first. For example i say LOTR before i read the books and i like the movies over the books. i read Harry Potter before i watched the films and i thought the films were crap and so on and so forth
first day of school was not terribly exciting, same people, same teacher (cept for maths) and some of the classes are missing due to the guys in japan. got home at 1:15 because i missed the bus at gordon due to the buses from our school to St L's and the trains from St L's to gordon, so instead i walked and got home later.
Senior dance is coming up...stereotypes? how the hell to dress up as a stereotype? still wondering whether i should go or not....lil' help here?

OMG the boredom is killing me....
well, it's holidays once again, and once again i'm am bored outta my mind. there is absolutely nothing to do, well actually there is...study, but i won't be doing that just yet. so this is how the first week of my hols went:
monday - bummed on net, played literati against andy and my sis online, played computer games watched tv
tuesday - PLAYDAY!!!! went to stevies house to kill people on the xbox. had large online/webcam convo with andy, then killed some more people before going home.
wednesday - bummed online, played computer games watched tv
thursday - went to city for optometrists, then stayed for lunch, while my sis went off to watch a movie with friends
friday - bummed online, played computer games, watched tv
saturday - worked in the morning, drove in the afternoon, slept in between
sunday - swimming in the morning, out for lunch, driving in the afternoon
anyways, i'm blogging because i didn't blog on wednesday, there's no one to talk to online, and there's nothing worth watching on tv. hopefully will go see "hitch" before it is no longer in cinemas.
well that's all from me for now, half yearlies second week back, i'd better study.

in a vexatious mood of sorts...
i just realised with a certain level of amusement that the advertisment above this oh-so-abandoned blog has kindly abandoned us also! well all the better. don't ask me why i'm blogging here. i guess i just need to rant. i just found out about two break-ups today and i have a feeling that they were caused by each other o_0 imagine the chances of knowing all four of the people involved? weird. i was previously in an extremely pissed ranting mood but i let all that out so its all good. that means i really don't have much substance to rant about except my english tutor's comments about how appalling my skills at reading in between the lines is. i've always known it to be a problem but i guess i just haven't found any way to solve it. in fact, i still don't know how to solve it.
i had the longest webcam conversation today. all because i was unable to attend a well planned gathering of friends. i make no comment on that particular topic because those who are eligible to such confidential information have already received it. so back to this laggy webcam. it was amusing to hear the stuttering of people's voices over the mic and the chopped up images of people moving in slow motion on the screen. to quote jono, i would say that i am "easily amused".
at this point in time, there are just three more days before my joyous flight to japan and i have received only one proper plane letter and one i-have-no-time-to-write-this bullshit. i was happy to hear from sammy that she was going to write me one once she had finished her english appropriation. the mere fact that i didn't ask for her to write one at all and yet she willingly offers is encouraging enough. it's nice to know that some people are still considerate. on the contrary, it's quite disgusting to see the lack of consideration coming fro, people that you would normally classify as your closest and best friends. i don't really know why i'm typing this considering only one or two people read it.
as i type this poor excuse for a diary piece, i have copious amounts of assessments that require my attention. however, i have yet to discover the emotion and mood of actually wanting to accomplish tasks that require the workings of what is known as a "brain". surely there must be some manual out there in the world that teaches us how to operate the extremely complex mechanisms of this curious being known as a "brain". i truly hope that there is another manual that explores the pros and cons of procrastination and how one must act in order to prevent its occurrence.
i do believe that i am talking in a somewhat weller-sounding tone because the english is simply too high-class for my normal conversational tone. maybe i have, at last, pulled away from the detrimental effects of what is known as the WWW or the World Wide Web...

So now i'm against tunnel pollution...
to start off, we got absolutely nailed in dodgeball. completely underestimated their skill at throwing balls...we shouldn't have made that assumption just because they were short...and we paid the price by losing, but it wasn't all that bad, i mean rajiv's team got nailed in 18 seconds, ours lasted somewhat longer. also had photos on friday, i'm getting shorted or everyone else is getting taller. this is the second year in a row that i'm in the second last row...
anyways scored a brilliant 19/20 for my feature article that mainly consisted of babble, babble, some ranting, and babble. spent thursday night typing up a 2300 word essay on change, still haven't got that one back yet, but my hopes of getting a high mark for that one is slim. did my english oral assessment on monday. got it back to day, scored a not-to-great 12/15. probably deserved it seeing as i made it up on the spot even when i had like four weeks to prepare.
had the "night of fine music" last night. was ok, partially boring, this is why i hate music recitals, i just don't appreciate the music, which is ironic because i am a musician myself. didn't do too bad on the organ either, though tomorrow during the ANZAC assembly i'll probably crank up the amp so you can actually here me. anyways, last night's concert has something to do with the title of this blog. you see the concert starts at 7 and we got off school at 2:35, and i had coaching till 6. so i left my folder with ben, shin, yi bong and yuki while i went to coaching. anyways, i was late meeting up with the guys because of cityrail (obviously) and while they were waiting for me they plastered my folder in stickers advocating for the filtering of cross city tunnels which they had found in the library. So apparently now i'm against polluting our tunnels. so if you see my folder, you now know why it looks like it does.
